Marbles

Goals for this week:
1) Define main story points. This will help us narrow down our research needs.
2) Design main character(s).
3) Come up with some alternate story moments that may be added in to help flesh out the main story.

Presentation Slides - here

These slides contain the first draft of our story beats, followed by some concept art for our hero marble and track designs, and finally some test renders of some volumetric glass concepts.

Expansion Slides - here

These are the new slides for Thursday, they further define the conflicts our hero faces after he loses his reflection.

Full Story Slides - here

This a merged version of the above two slideshows that only contains the story panels giving the full order of events.

Here are some initial animation and rigging tests based on our hero marble's design:
1) Interior freely rotating - here
2) Interior following shell - here
3) Zero G Fluid (Satellite test) - here

Inked

by Zach Trabookis

A story about a man and his struggle to contain his lifelong inner struggles and experiences.

Tattooed man is seen walking through a desolate desert where his life seems bleak at best. He begins to hear voices all around him and he begins to notice his tattoed illustrations moving. A rain storm arrives and washes off the tattooes, as if, the man is released (cleansed) from his cursed past. He struggles to get up and continue his journey forward; the tattooed man doesn't realize it but the cursed tattooes can never be rid of, as we see one formulating on his back as he leaves.
