--the voice over has been removed, but not for good.

--In the first shot, each cube will be something that will be seen later on in the reel (a house, a TV, a cube from the "brain" scene, etc)

--The shot with the cubes flying toward the camera is too quick. The transition to this scene from the previous one might could be more interesting than a fade. What do y'all think?

--The third shot (the shot with the 3D falling grid that leads tho the fly through) is the brain shot. Here the cubes should look more organic. In this reel, some of the synapses have permanent "firings." In the actual animation, synapses will fire in random gaps as the camera passes by. Also, the path through the "grid cortex" will be more interesting than just a straight line.

--The transition between the brain scene and the tv scene is the strongest in the reel. In the brain scene, the camera runs right into the electricity from a firing synapse. This "lights" up the entire screen and fades into static. As the camera pulls back, the viewer realizes that this static is from a TV screen.

--As we pull back from the TV screen, the stack of TVs that we see should be even more extreme that what is shown in the reel.

--Initially I thought that all of the TVs should just show static. Other alternatives would be that each TV would have a different show (stock footage?) playing on it, OR, each TV could be playing the scene that we're in, so its like an infinite torus. Thoughts on this?

--As we pull out into the city, the street we fly down should have interesting geography around it (square trees, light posts, red lights, etc)

--The Final Shot explained: the final shot doesn't read well yet. What is happening is that as the camera pulls back to show the whole city, a teardrop slowly forms around it (the teardrop should be square, not round like the one shown in this reel). So, a tear forms around the city, then the city fades out and the tear falls, ending in a square ripple.

Been thinking about the ending--it might be better to get rid of the tear forming around the city. Instead, at the end of the zoom out from the city, we'll have the camera tilt up towards the sky and the square tear will fall. The only thing on the screen will be the tear and a background (formerly the sky). As the tear passes by, we will see the city contained within it. The camera will then cut to a bird's eye view and we'll see the tear land in a square ripple
